RED PINE NEWS March 15 and April 5 - Meryem will be teaching classes on "Getting Started with Outdoor Filmmaking" in conjunction with Boulder Digital Arts. You can sign up for a class here. February, 2008 - Meryem was appointed a moderator at DVinfo.net, one of the largest online video production sites on the web. February 1-2, 2008 - Two UWOL films will be screened on Feb. 2 during the "Chaos on the Mountain Enviro Film Series," (www.chaosfilmfest.org), sponsored by the Wild Bear Center for Nature Discovery (www.wildbear.org). Meryem will be interviewed on Feb. 1 at 12:30 pm on KGNU radio about the UWOL Challenge's participation in the festival. You can tune into the broadcast 88.5 FM Boulder or on the web at www.kgnu.org May, 2008 - DJ will be traveling to France to work on the set of our first indie feature film shot on our new RED Digital Cinema camera. The film will be directed by French landscape photographer Jean-Charles Wolfarth. November 13, 2008 - Meryem will be organizing the 2nd Annual Outdoor Video Producers' Workshop in conjunction with the Boulder Adventure Film Festival. Last year's event drew a crowd of 80 people and featured a panel of 3 very entertaining local adventure film producers and a gear giveaway. Don't miss it.
